BOMBERMAN comes to the Oric Atmos!

This free, unofficial fan game combines a complete solo campaign with a configurable local battle mode, custom character graphics, animated monsters, AY music and sound effects.

FEATURES

• 20 solo stages across two loops

• Faster monsters during the second loop

• Score, lives and upgrades carried between stages

• Three starting lives and extra lives at 2,000 and 5,000 points

• 2 to 4 Bombers in Battle mode

• 1 or 2 human players, with computer-controlled opponents

• Adjustable round time, CPU speed and FIRST TO 1/2/3 victory target

• Keyboard and joystick support

• Original Oric character graphics and animated half-step movement

• Three-voice title and event music, two-voice in-game theme and sound effects

REQUIREMENTS

Use an Oric Atmos with a compatible Microdisc drive, or mount BOMBORIC.dsk in Oricutron using the Oric Atmos and Microdisc configuration.

In Oricutron, press F1, choose “Insert Disk 0...”, select BOMBORIC.dsk, then press F8 for fullscreen. Menu wording may vary slightly between Oricutron versions.

CONTROLS

In Solo mode, use the arrow keys to move and Space to place a bomb. P pauses, S toggles music and ESC returns to the main screen. Joystick input is also supported.

Ce fan game gratuit et non officiel propose une campagne SOLO de vingt tableaux répartis en deux boucles, ainsi qu’un mode BATTLE configurable pour deux à quatre Bombers. Il fonctionne sur Oric Atmos avec lecteur Microdisc compatible, ou dans Oricutron configuré en Oric Atmos/Microdisc.
